Easy Cinnamon Apples: A 5-Minute Snack Kids and Grandkids Love

Sometimes the simplest snacks are the biggest hit.

My grandkids were hungry and asked me for cinnamon apples.

Easy enough!

In just a few minutes, I had a bowl of fresh apples covered in Cinnamon Toast Blend ready for them to enjoy.

No cooking. No complicated recipe. Just a quick snack that the grandkids love.

You can watch me make them here:

What You Need

You only need two ingredients:

Use whatever kind of apples your family likes best.

That’s it!

How to Make Easy Cinnamon Apples

Wash your apples and cut them into wedges.

Place the apple wedges into a large mixing bowl.

Sprinkle Cinnamon Toast Blend over the apples.

Give everything a good toss until the apple slices are coated.

Serve and enjoy!

It really is that simple.

The Pampered Chef Tools I Used

You certainly don’t need fancy equipment to cut up an apple, but I love having kitchen tools that make everyday jobs quicker and easier.

For this snack, I used several of my Pampered Chef favorites.

Apple Wedger – Item #2427

I used the Apple Wedger to quickly cut and core the apples.

When you are making snacks for hungry kids or grandkids, anything that gets the job done faster is a win in my book.

Cinnamon Toast Blend – Item #101643

Instead of getting out the cinnamon and sugar separately, I sprinkled Pampered Chef Cinnamon Toast Blend right over the apples.

Quick and easy!

4-qt. Plastic Mixing Bowl – Item #100471

I tossed the apples and seasoning together in my 4-qt. Plastic Mixing Bowl.

A larger bowl gives you plenty of room to mix everything without apples flying all over the kitchen.

Prep & Store System – Item #100929

I also used my Prep & Store System while preparing the apples.

I love kitchen products that can help me prep, serve, and store food without making extra work for myself.

Quick Snacks Don’t Have to Be Complicated

After raising 12 children and now having more than a few hungry grandkids around, I can tell you that snacks do not have to be complicated.

Sometimes an apple and a little cinnamon goodness are all you need.

These cinnamon apples take just a few minutes, use ingredients you can easily keep on hand, and can be made for one person or a whole group of hungry grandkids.

And when the grandkids specifically ask me to make something again?

I call that a winner.

What is the quick snack your kids or grandkids ask for over and over again?
