New York State will be having a Free Fishing Day this weekend.
Make sure you get the family together for some fun, frugal fun during New York State’s Free Fishing Day on August 31, 2024.
There will be more Free Fishing Days in New York on September 28, National Hunting and Fishing Day, and November 11, Veteran’s Day.
What Does Free Fishing Days Mean?
So, what exactly are free fishing days anyway?
Free Fishing Days means you can fish in New York State without the expense of paying for a fishing license on specified days.
While the requirement for a fishing license is waived on Free Fishing Days, all other fishing requirements will remain in place.
