North Country Barn Dance at Tanner Creek Farm
Tanner Creek Farm has quickly become the fun spot of the North Country.
It is a gorgeous venue.
I have always loved the old-barn, country-style look, so I naturally fell in love with the place the moment I stepped foot on the property.
But, I have yet to meet a single person who hasn’t raved about its beauty.
First Annual Summer Fest and Barn Dance
Tanner Creek Farm is excited to announce its first annual Summer Fest and Barn Dance event!
North Country friends and family, don’t miss out on this family-friendly fun time.
Saturday, July 30th from 2:00 P.M. through 6:30 P.M
at 2589 County Route 17 Dekalb Junction, New York 13630
Admission is totally FREE, so come out with the family and have a great time with some old-fashioned barn dancing!
There will be vendors, food, and drinks being sold at this event.
The Foote Family Barn Dancing
My family has already had a little bit of experience and a whole lot of fun doing some barn dancing at the Tanner Creek Farm during my daughter, Sophia’s wedding.
Here is a picture of all six of my daughters, two out of six of my sons, and a couple of my daughters-in-love dancing.

Professional Dance Floor and Sound System
Tanner Creek Farm offers a professional sound system.
I quickly found this out when my daughter, Sophia, and I went to check out the place for Sophia’s wedding and reception.
When Nick, the owner, Tom Jasikoff’s son, explained to Sophia and me that Tanner Creek offered a professional sound system for our DJ to use, I asked,
Do you have all of the CDs too?
At this point, Nick and Sophia just stared at me in disbelief.
Finally, Sophia said, Mom! You are aging yourself.
I replied, No, Sophia, CDs aren’t aging me. I didn’t ask if he had 8-tracks!
The younger crew was able to easily tap into the sound system without a hitch, and I guess without a CD.
Anyway, you won’t need an 8-track tape, a CD, or the internet because there will be a live band playing for your listening and dancing pleasure.

There is a gorgeous wooden floor that works perfectly for dancing.
Vendors and a Food Truck
Tab’s Grill & Cantina will be on-site offering her amazing food for sale throughout this event.
There will also be drinks for sale and many vendors.

Times are tough.
Inflation is high.
Gas prices are outrageous
