#1 – National Canned Food Month
National Canned Food Month is the perfect time to stock that pantry!
Canned foods, like soup, canned veggies, canned fruit, and more are on sale this month.
Watch your stores’ sales ads for all of those canned foods deals. Look for coupons on the companies’ websites, store ads, store websites, and of course, on coupon websites.
#2 – President’s Day is in February
Retailers are always looking for a good reason to run a sale, and President’s Day is no exception.
Watch for sales on things like bedding, furniture, mattresses, and small kitchen appliances.
#3 – Tires
Watch for deals, coupon codes, and promotions on tires this month, especially around President’s Day.
#4 – Tax Software
Tax season is upon us and with it comes sales and deals on do-it-yourself tax software.
Search for coupons, deals, and promo codes before purchasing any tax software.
#5 – Winter Apparel
Winter apparel, including warm clothing, boots, slippers, and more are being marked down everywhere you look.
It is the perfect time for us to get into the stores and grab these deals in order to fill up the gift closet.
I live in the North Country, and Christmastime brings cold and snow.
Our stores are filled with marked down cold-weather clothing right now.
The type of clothing being offered at deep discounts right now is exactly the type of clothing I want to give a Christmas time.
I don’t, however, want to pay the prices that are on these things once Christmas rolls back around.
I started filling up my gift closet with warm clothing already, and I will continue to do so over the next few months as the clearance prices only get better and better.

Remember all of those New Year’s resolution to start exercising and to get into shape?
Right, most everyone has forgotten those resolutions!

IHOP will be offering their guests one free short stack of its famous buttermilk pancakes.

We are buried in snow here in Northern New York!
I am so looking forward to barbecue season! February is a great time to find deals on gas grills.
#10 – Air Conditioners
Stores are preparing for the changing of the seasons even if the weather isn’t! February is a good time to get deals on air conditioners.
The cruise companies actually realize we are still suffering with winter weather. Their solution is to offer great deals on cruises this month! (Some places are waiting until March to offer their best deals, though.)
