Free Movies, Free Popcorn, and Free Science Museum at Hawkins Point Visitor Center in Massena, New York

Massena, New York is one of my favorite spots to frequent every summer. 

There is so much free stuff being offered for families!

Free Movies and Free Popcorn

One of our favorite summertime activities is making a trip out to Hawkin’s Point for their FREE family movie days.

Every Tuesday in July, and possibly in August, Hawkins Point will be playing a family movie for FREE.

Not only that, they offer movie style popcorn for FREE too!

My kids and grandkids have been doing this for years.

Showings Every Tuesday

Showings begin at 1:00 o’clock every Tuesday this July.

Tuesday, July 22nd – Inside Out 2

Tuesday, July 29th – Despicable Me 4

FREE Science Museum

They free movies are played right at their FREE science museum.

All of the science museum has an electricity theme and is owned by the New York Power Authority.

Pack a Lunch

Pack a lunch. They have plenty of outdoor picnicking areas. Just watch out for the geese that may be wandering around! LOL

Boat Launch and Fishing Spots

There is also a really nice boat launch and don’t forget to bring along your fishing poles.

Peaceful, Fun, and Frugal

Hawkins Point has always been a family favorite.

It is beautiful out there. It’s peaceful.

There’s lots of frugal fun.

It’s hard to beat FREE!
