What Should You Bring?

Before leaving home, gather anything you may need for your pet’s appointment.

Bring your pet’s previous rabies vaccination certificate if you have it. This can help clinic workers determine which vaccination your pet should receive. A tag by itself may not provide all the information they need, so the actual certificate is best.

Keep dogs securely leashed. Cats and ferrets should be in secure carriers. Even calm animals can become frightened when they are surrounded by unfamiliar people and pets.

You may also want to bring water, waste bags, and anything else that will keep your pet comfortable while you wait.
