The Space Science Institute’s Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries (SEAL) program handed out more than 5 million solar eclipse glasses to 10,000 public libraries across the United States.
They asked the libraries to hand out solar eclipse glasses for free so people could view the total eclipse coming in April 2024.
I messaged my local libray on Facebook and they confirmed they had free solar eclipse glasses available.

Public school teachers can apply to receive up to 25 pairs of solar eclipse safety glasses for free through SolarEclipse.US.
The deadline to apply is Friday, March 1, 2024.
