I sit down with each child individually and put together a curriculum that works for them personally.

If we get into a course and find out that it doesn’t actually fit with the student, we just switch courses.

Online Music Classes

Some of our favorite classes to use this year are the online music classes.

Judy is taking the guitar lessons. Christina is using the violin lessons. Sarah is really enjoying the recorder lessons. Mom is enjoying having video classes to cover these courses!

Guitar Lessons

Judy has picked up on playing the guitar super fast.

This class is taught through video lessons, which work so much better than just being handed a book alone.

There are also images showing important details, like exact finger placement.

There are printable worksheets and a weekly schedule available to print out for your students to be able to see exactly what needs to be accomplished day-by-day, so there is no guesswork on what to do.

Violin Lessons

Christina has wanted to learn to play the violin for quite a few years but we weren’t sure where to start. Ultimate PreK-12 Annual Membership solved the problem!

Lessons are taught through video with printable worksheets.

Christina has learned how to tune her instrument, correct finger placement, the proper way to hold the violin, and at least ten songs.

Recorder Lessons

Sarah was pretty excited when her new wooden recorder arrived in the mail. She quickly jumped on schoolhouseteachers.com and pulled up her recorder video lessons.

Sarah was so proud to be able to start playing right away.

Mama was so happy because we had not even officially started school yet when she did this!

Each lesson is taught through a video class, plus comes with a printable worksheet.

Sarah was pretty happy to see Christmas songs were part of the lesson plan.

My family uses the video library as our family’s entertainment multiple times per week.
