Getting your pets spayed and neutered can be quite costly.
That’s why I am so excited about this Spay and Neuter Now program.
Spay and Neuter Now is a non-profit organization that helps spay and neuter animals in the North Country of New York.
Program Eligibility
Program eligibility includes:
- Income-Qualified Households for Cats & Dogs
- Income-Qualified Military Households for Cats
- Caretakers of Unowned, Stray, Feral, Colony or Barn Cats
Dog and Cat Packages
Cat Package: $85.00
Dog Packages:
Dogs <25 lbs: Males $140.00, Females $155.00
Dogs 26-50 lbs: Males $155.00, Females $175.00
Dogs 51-75 lbs: Males $170.00, Females $195.00
Dogs >75 lbs: Males $185.00, Females $215.00
*+$25.00 for Dogs 3 Years and Older
**+$25.00 for Cryptorchid (undescended testicle) Dogs.
Note: Proof of income is required for all applications – proof of income examples are paycheck stubs, SSI or SSD statements, tax forms (such as 1040 or W2s), etc. We need this information to process your application.
Spay/Neuter Flat Fee Surgery Packages
Spay/Neuter Flat Fee Surgery Packages Include:
- Spay/Neuter Anesthesia, Surgery & Pain Management
- Rabies & Distemper (FVRCP/DA2PP) Vaccinations
- Nail Trim & Check/Treatment for Ear Mites
This program is subsidized by donations and does not reflect the actual cost of the surgery, services, supplies, or treatments provided by SNN.
The market value of the spay/neuter surgery packages is $150-$600.
Flea treatments are provided and optional, but it is mandatory if fleas are physically found on an animal.
