What to Buy in March
March is my all-time favorite shopping month.
It is absolutely the BEST month to go shopping.
It’s the month to stock up your gift closet.
It seems like every single store, including thrift stores, is marking everything down.
Winter Items:
Everything that has to do with wintertime will be marked down this month.
Snow shovels, hot-hands packets, gloves, boots, scarves, coats, warm socks, and more will be on sale in March.
I love to fill up my Christmas closet this time of year. The exact type of stuff that the clearance racks are filled up with is the exact type of things I will be looking to buy next winter as Christmas gifts.
Valentine’s Day Clearance
Anything to do with Valentine’s Day will be marked down to its rock-bottom price in March.
Sarah couldn’t wait for the after Valentine’s Day sales.
The other day she came home with a box of Turtles chocolates for me.
She said, Don’t worry, Mom, they were on clearance! 🙂
Corned Beef, Carrots, and Cabbage
We will see all kinds of sales on corned beef, carrots, and cabbage this month in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, which is March 17th.
St. Patrick’s Day Clearance
The best time to buy St. Patrick’s Day-themed anything begins the day after St. Patrick’s Day!
National Frozen Food Month
March is National Frozen Food Month, so watch for the deals and stock that freezer this month.
National Potato Chips Day
We should also be seeing a lot of sales on potato chips in March in celebration of National Potato Chip Day on March 14, 2022.
Cleaning Products
March brings spring. Well, at least calendar spring here in the North Country.
With the change of the seasons comes spring cleaning sales.
We will be seeing a lot of deals on cleaning supplies.
Vacuum Cleaners
Vacuum cleaners will be on sale this month too.
March Madness – Take Out Food
Are you a basketball fan? March Madness usually brings a lot of deals on take-out food.
Gardening
I am ready to do some gardening! Of course, that won’t be happening for a few months!
