What You Should Consider Buying in April 2022
#1 – All Things Winter
If your store has any kind of winter items left, they want them gone!
They will be marking all things winter down to their rock-bottom price in April.
You may not even want to think about winter right now, but this is the perfect time to score everything you will need for next winter at amazing prices.
Why wait and pay full price?
Now is the time to stock up for next winter.
These items make great Christmas gifts too!
Watch for things like hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, coats, boots, heavy socks, slippers, pajamas, and housecoats.
Don’t forget to grab snow shovels, ice scrapers, hand warmers, and even a snowblower this month!
#2 – Spring Cleaning
I love just hearing the word April after a long winter!
It sounds like fresh air, blue skies, flowers, and spring cleaning to me.
We will be seeing all kinds of spring cleaning deals in April.
Watch for cleaning supplies of all kinds.
Don’t forget to match up coupons and digital rebates to get the best deals.
Need a new vacuum cleaner?
Vacuum cleaners will be marked down in April too.
#3 - Earth Day
April 22nd is Earth Day.
It is not uncommon for places like Stewart’s Shops and other coffee shops to give away a free or extremely low-priced cup of coffee in an Earth-friendly cup to celebrate Earth Day.
There will also be a lot of deals on green cleaning supplies this month.
#4 – Easter Sales and Deals
Easter is April 17th this year.
We typically see deals on ham, eggs, and a mini baking supplies sale.
These sales won’t be anything like what we see in November, but there should still be some great deals.
Watch for all kinds of awesome candy and Easter clearance deals once the holiday is over.
#5 - Passover
Watch for deals on lamb and all Kosher foods, thanks to Passover.
A few years ago, I got a case of Matzos crackers for free during the Passover sales.
#6– April is Car Care Month
Your car has had a rough, long winter too.
It is time to give it a little TLC during Care Care Month.
Watch for sales, coupons, and deals from your local auto parts stores, like Auto Zone, Advance Auto, etc.
#7 – Home Improvement Supplies
Ready to jump into some home improvement projects this spring?
I know I have a long list of home improvements and projects to do around my9 homestead.
Home improvement stores, like Lowe’s and Home Depot will be offering some great deals this month.
#8 – National Pretzel Day
Stores love to run sales alongside National This and That days.
This month is National Pretzel Day on April 26th.
Make sure you watch your favorite stores for pretzel deals on that day.
#9 - Gardening
We are starting to see a lot of seeds and other garden supplies in the stores this month.
