Saving Money on Groceries at Price Chopper This Week
I love saving money on groceries, don’t you?!? Price Chopper makes it pretty easy to save this week with all of their BOGO sales, plus coupon match-up deals.
I was able to get over $115.00 worth of groceries this week for just over $42.00.
This article tells you exactly how I did it so you can do it too!
Two containers of fresh strawberries – BOGO – Buy one at $4.99 and get a second container for free. This is an automatic savings at the register. No coupons are needed.
Two bags of fresh onions – BOGO – Buy one at $2.99 and get a second bag for free. This is an automatic savings at the register. No coupons are needed.
Two bags of fresh carrots – BOGO – Buy one at $1.99 and get the second bag for free. No coupons necessary.
Two boxes of General Mills cereal – regularly priced at $3.49 per box. They are on sale for $1.99 per box. I used one newspaper insert manufacturer coupon for $1.00 off two boxes making them $1.49 per box.
One box of Nature Valley granola bars are regularly priced at $2.99. They are on sale for $1.99. I used an in-ad store coupon making the box just $0.99.
One large case of Matzos crackers are regularly priced at $8.49. They are on sale for $7.99. I used an in-ad store coupon that made them free with a $75.00 or more purchase. The store counted this total before my coupons were applied. I got the entire case for free giving me $7.99 off my total.
Wise Cheese Doodles are regularly priced at $3.49. They are on sale 2 for $4.00. No coupons needed.
One block of Pics brand cheese is regularly priced at $2.59. It is on sale for $1.99. I used an in-ad store coupon making it only $0.99.
Ten Yoplait yogurt are regularly priced at $0.79 each. They are on sale 10 for $5.00. I used one newspaper insert manufacturer coupon for $1.00 off ten.
Fresh chicken BOGO – I paid $6.86 for one package and got the second pack totally free. No coupons necessary. The second package rings up free automatically at the register.
One package of Hormel Pork Back Ribs was priced at $7.99, but there was a peelie store coupon stuck on it giving me $3.00 off.
Two packages of cupcakes from the bakery marked half off.
One Strawberry Shortcake from the Bakery marked half off. These are my favorite cakes. I love it when I find them marked down!
Three cases of bottled Lipton tea – Buy one case and get two cases free! One case costs $8.49. Two free equals $16.98 off!
SmartCare liquid hand soap is regularly priced at $2.99. There is an iSave store coupon making it just $0.99.
Saving Money on Groceries at Price Chopper This Week
I used a Catalina coupon for $1.00 off a $4.00 purchase that I received during a previous Price Chopper shopping trip.
I also used $10.81 in Price Chopper ADVANTedge points.
My total before sales and coupons was $115.79.
After sales, coupons, and reward points, I only paid $42.34!
That’s a savings of $73.45!
