The Best Things to Buy in March
The Best Things to Buy in March list is long! March is my all-time favorite shopping month. It is absolutely the BEST month to go shopping. It’s the month to stock up your gift closet. It seems like every single store, including thrift stores, is marking everything down.
Walmart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Big Lots, Walgreens, and thrift shops are a few of the stores I make sure I hit up for clearance deals this month.
Hit the Thrift Stores
Many thrift stores will have their clothing marked down at rock-bottom prices. Many thrift shops are giving away everything in their shops for FREE! It is time to clean out all of the wintertime merchandise to make room for all of the pretty spring and summer clothing. The best way to do that is to give everything away! Yay!
I have been able to find some pretty good deals at my local thrift stores. I recently picked up books, toys, socks, clothes, belts, and shoes all for FREE. There was a good selection of like-new stuffed animals that our family will be handing out at the nursing home next Christmas Eve.
Fill up Your Christmas/Gift Closet
I fill my Christmas/gift closet up this month with all kinds of awesome deals. Pajamas, slippers, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants, slipper socks, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, thermal underclothes, and so much more are marked down to their rock-bottom prices this month.
The best part is the stuff that I will be wanting to give as Christmas gifts are at ridiculously low prices right now. The winter clothing that’s on sale is exactly what I will be looking for when Christmas comes back around, so why wait and pay full price! I love to get 90% off from Christmas shopping!
Dollar General, Family Dollar, and Big Lots
Dollar General, Family Dollar, and Big Lots have a limited selection of clothing, but you can still find deals. The other day, I found a box full of slipper socks marked down at DG. I typically find hats, gloves, scarves, pajamas, slipper socks, cups, little toys, and stickers marked down at rock-bottom prices.
My favorite part about finding super clearance deals at these stores is the fact that they offer dollar off total purchase coupons to make the deals even sweeter!
You can get DG and FD digital coupons for an additional $5.00 off. Sign up for the Big Lots Big Rewards program and you will receive coupons, like $5.00 off $15.00, etc. right in your email.
*Be sure and read the requirements and restrictions for each coupon.*
