What are the Best Things to Buy in the Month of March
This is one of my favorite months to shop the clearance racks in order to fill up my gift closet. It seems like practically everything is being marked down this time of year.
Since I live in the Northern hemisphere, everything winter is being marked down.
Calendar spring is on its way!
Calendar spring is definitely not the same as real spring. That won’t show up for a couple of months!
Winter Stuff!
I love to fill up my Christmas closet this time of year. The exact type of stuff that the clearance racks are filled up with are the exact things I will be looking to buy next winter as Christmas gifts.
You can find winter coats marked between $1.00 and $5.00.
Hats, gloves, and scarves will drop as low as ten cents each!
Sweat pants, sweat shirts, jackets, long sleeved shirts, pants, socks, winter boots, slippers, pajamas, slipper socks, and so much more will be hitting their rock-bottom prices this month.
Also, watch for other wintertime items, like snow shovels, salt to dissolve ice, windshield scrappers, etc.
If it is associated with winter in any way, shape, or form, then we will be seeing it clearanced out at shockingly low prices this month.
Winter stuff is some of the best things to buy in the month of March!
End of the Valentine’s Day Clearance
My kids actually count down until February 15th!
They love to find super cheap candy.
Valentine’s Day is at 90% off in most stores now.
Hurry before it is all gone!
St. Patrick’s Day
Holidays are a great time to find deals in the stores.
St. Patrick’s Day means everyone around the world will be eating corned beef, potatoes, carrots, and cabbage. Yum!
After St. Patrick’s Day we will see all of the holiday items marked down until they hit 90% off.
National Frozen Food Month
It is always National Something Month! Take advantage of these months to stockpile the deals.
This month, it is National Frozen Food Month.
If it gets stored in a freezer, then we will most likely see it marked down to celebrate National Frozen Food Month.
We will even see sales on freezers!
During the first week of March, Price Chopper is offering their annual chest freezer sale.
Pay $199.99 for the freezer and get over $200.00 worth of free grocery coupons!
Cellphone Deals
Ready for a new Smartphone? This is the month to get a deal on one!
Here is a little known secret for my Straight Talk friends. Straight Talk often gives away FREE phones. Yes, they give away totally FREE phones a lot!
How do you get one?
Just go to the Straight Talk website and buy a phone card. This is the same card you would buy in Walmart. The difference is you can get a free phone if you go through their website.
Next, check out their phones. You can narrow down the search by choosing the price you are looking for on the sidebar.
Choose a FREE phone if they are offering one, and add it to your cart.

They don’t always give away free phones, but I am first in line when they do!
Even if you don’t hit the right time to get a free phone from Straight Talk, you will sales on phones all over the place.
