Are there any good sales in the month of December?
According to the Consumer Report, December is one of the best times to find almost anything you want on sale.
I agree!
In November, we saw Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but if you are paying attention and applying some Strategic Shopping, then you can find deals just as good, and sometimes even better, during the month of December!

Strategic Shopping is knowing WHEN, WHERE, and HOW MUCH to buy at any time during the year.
Headphones
I have been seeing a lot of headphones on sale this month.
Big Lots has a pretty good selection and they are all on markdown right now.
Small Appliances
It seems like every store you walk into right now has small appliances marked down.
I have seen coffee makers, hand mixers, food chopper, food processors, toasters, and more marked down this month.
These are great items to throw into the Gift Closet while they are so cheap.
They would make great Bridal Shower and Reception gifts!
Cookware
Have you been planning on getting new cookware?
December is definitely the month to get cookware at a great price.
Baking Supplies, including Butter
I love the baking sales! I stock up on flour, sugar, chocolate chips, and so much more this time of year!
It seems like every store in town is running some kind of baking sale deal.
Don’t forget to take advantage of all of the butter sales too.
Butter freezes well. I don’t add any additional packaging.
I just buy a lot of butter and throw it directly into the freezer.
It stays perfect for over a year!
Don’t forget to check out stores like Dollar General and Family Dollar.
Laptops and Computers
November, December, and of course, the Back-to-School months are the BEST times to buy new laptops and computers.
It’s not too late!
You can find some great deals on laptops and computers in the month of December.

Both adult and kid tablets are marked at amazing prices this month.

Bicycles
My children were always asking for bicycles for Christmas.
I would tell them no since we live in the North Country and the ground is piled high with snow for months on end.
I didn’t want them to be disappointed to get a gift that they wouldn’t be able to use for many, many months.
That is, until I saw the prices of bicycles in December.
Wow!
If bikes are on your list for 2024, then consider getting them now.
Gift Cards
Gift card deals is one of the best deals this month! There will be gift card sales practically everywhere.
Check in with your favorite restaurants. Watch for sales at both the grocery stores and drug stores.
