I Can't Clip Coupons Part #2

I Can’t Clip Coupons Part #2

I get it. Everyone is super busy today. As a homeschooling, blogging, mama of twelve children with lots of awesome grandchildren to boot, I get that.

So, how do we save all of this awesome money through coupons if we don’t actually have time to do all of the work of cutting those coupons?!?

It’s too much work! I don’t have time!

These are two of the most popular sayings I hear when it comes to why people aren’t using all of that coupon power.

I so get it. I have days when pulling out the big coupon binder, sorting through the piles of coupons, and heading to the store just isn’t going to happen. On those days, just getting to the store could take a literal miracle.

The problem is I just couldn’t bear to actually pay full price if I don’t have to, so I have come up with a few ways to still save with coupons on those hectic days.

Start by checking out my article on my top ten tips for shopping the supermarket when I have

No Time to Clip Coupons

Next, stop scrolling through Facebook while shopping, and tell the kids you can’t text them right now because you are going to be using your phone to get the deals.

Pull up your grocery store’s app and search it for digital coupons. Digital coupons don’t typically double, so if your store’s policy is to double manufacturer coupons don’t expect them to carry this policy over to their digital Q’s.

Don’t forget to look for all of those awesome rebates via smartphone apps too.

Some of my all-time favorite rebate apps include:

Ibotta

Checkout51

Fetch Rewards

Saving Star

There are so many awesome rebate apps out htere, but I try not to burn myself out by overdoing them. I make pretty good money through these four apps.

I either have my rebate deals written out on my regular shopping list, or I quickly scroll through the apps to remind myself which deals I planned on grabbing while I’m right there in the store.

The digital world makes it super easy to save without taking up too much time or energy.

Do you use digital coupons and digital rebate apps? Which are your favorite?

Candy had been a good shopper for years. With 12 children, it didn’t take her long to realize that if she wasn’t a smart shopper, she wouldn’t make it very far! She wanted to continue to be a stay-at-home mother, but she wondered if this was going to be possible. Then, she found out about coupons. Coupons have literally changed her life!
