I wanted to share my quick couponing trip to the Potsdam IGA with all of you.
Remember
Remember, your couponing trips don’t need to be huge shopping trips where you save hundreds of dollars.
Just stay consistent at getting your pantry filled up with rock-bottom-priced items.
Here are a few ways to get manufacturer coupons and some great sales to go along with those coupons.
General Mills Coupon Deal
One of my daughters was at an appointment in town, so I made the best out of my waiting time by hitting the General Mills coupon deal at the Potsdam IGA.
They have select boxes of General Mills cereal on sale through Thursday, October 21st for only $1.79 each.
Strategic Shoppers love low starting prices because that means we are about to score a really great deal.
$1.79 per box of brand-named cereal is an excellent starting price!
I call it a starting price because it isn’t the final price I will be paying.
Coupons Right on Packaging
Think outside of the box, or in this case, inside of the box when it comes to getting coupons.
Coupons can be found in many, many ways.
I had a bunch of manufacturer coupons for General Mills products right on the boxes of products I purchased earlier this year.
I like to check the packaging while I am in the store shopping.
There might be two boxes of something side by side. They can be the exact product in two different packages.
One might have coupons on the packaging, while the other is just a plain Jane package.
Choose wisely.
Sunday Newspaper Coupon Inserts
Yes, I still buy my local Sunday newspaper every week for the coupon inserts.
I realize that many people have totally switched over to just using digital coupons, but I like to use both.
I found this $1.00 off three boxes of General Mills cereal in my coupon binder from a Sunday newspaper coupon insert.
Internet Printable Coupons
I also had a $1.00 off two boxes of General Mills cereal printable coupon.
Printable coupons are a great way to save on shopping.

General Mills Coupon Deal
Potsdam IGA has select General Mills cereal on sale this week for $1.79.
I picked up seven boxes of cereal.
$1.79 times 7 = $12.53
I used two of the manufacturer coupons that I found on cereal boxes for $1.00 off each.
I used one Sunday newspaper insert coupon for $1.50 off three boxes.
I, also, used one printable coupon for $1.00 off two boxes of cereal.
I only paid $8.03 for seven boxes of brand-named cereal.
That is definitely a stock-up price!
