2020 is the perfect time to start shopping local stores, like Lavigne’s IGA of Potsdam.

I like to call our little IGA stores the best-kept secret in the North Country!

The LaVigne brothers, Kirk and Todd, are not new to the grocery store business.

Their father started his first store back in the ’80s when the boys were young, so they literally grew up in this business.

Life isn’t always easy for our little hometown supermarket.

Big businesses, like Walmart, tend to overshadow our small, hometown Mom & Pop stores.

Weekly Sales

Lavigne’s IGA of Potsdam runs their weekly sales ad from Thursday to Friday.

Their new sales and deals always come out on Fridays.

Prefer curbside pickup?

You can easily get the curbside service by calling them in Potsdam at 315-274-0355.

(Please make sure you call the store closest to your area.)

A friendly voice is available to take your order, and let you know when you can drive over to pick up your order.

You won’t even have to leave your car! A store employee will load your groceries for you.

You will be given the option of paying over the phone with your debit, credit card, or SNAP (EBT/Foodstamps) card.

You can also choose to pay with your card or cash during pick-up.

If you tell them on the phone how much cash you will be paying with, they will even have your correct change counted out for you!

If you have a cellphone, just call the store back when you arrive to pick up your order.

If you or someone you know wants to do curbside pick up but doesn’t own a cellphone, just call the store when you are leaving your house and let them know you are on your way.

Potsdam IGA store hours are:

Monday: 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Tuesday: 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Wednesday: 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Thursday: 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Friday: 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Saturday: 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Sunday: 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

IGA Accepts Manufacturer Coupons

The IGA stores all gladly accept manufacturer coupons.

Coupons valued at 99 cents and under will be doubled.

Coupons valued at $1.00 and above will be taken at face value.

Expired coupons will not be accepted.

Daily Lunch Specials

The Potsdam IGA has Daily Lunch Specials! 

They offer a fresh, new lunch special seven days a week.

Delivery Services

Your local IGA also offers home delivery services every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Corona Virus Precautions

Todd and Kirk Lavigne take your health and the health of our community seriously.

All staff is required to wear masks.

Customers are also asked to wear masks while inside the store.
