The Imagination Station Islands and Enemies Book Review

The Beginning

This story starts out with two cousins, Patrick and Beth, sitting across the table from one another in Whit’s End’s ice cream shoppe.

They stared at each other annoyingly. Neither one of them was happy with the other one.

Patrick picked up a small piece of paper and wadded it up in his mouth prepared to shoot a spit wad through his straw directly at Beth.

Beth picked up her metal spoon and began tapping her root beer glass.

Tink, tink, tink.

TINK, TINK, TINK

Tink, tink, tink.

When Whit heard the tinking he walked over to see what was happening at their table.

That’s when, according to Patrick, the spit one got shot directly at Beth’s forehead, by accident.

When Whit finally realized that Beth was hit with the spitball he asked, “Is this the reason for the SOS? “

Patrick was confused, but Beth just picked up her spoon – tink, tink, tink.

That’s Morse code, Beth said smugly.

SOS.

Whit was soon caught up in listening to the troubles between Beth and Patrick.

When each one of them had had their chance to tell their side of the story, Whit said, Resolving this conflict calls for an Imagination Station adventure.

Everyone smiled.

Off for Adventures

Whit loaded Patrick and Beth into the Imagination Station.

The Imagination Station was one of Whit’s personal inventions.

It was a real-live time machine!

His last words to Patrick and Beth were To come back, you must be friends again.

With a jerk, a rumble, and a whirl, the Imagination Station was off on its next adventure.

Lots of Adventurers

Patrick and Beth travel back in time on the Imagination Station and find themself aboard the ship Victory with Ferdinand Magellan along with his sailors.

Adventurers included dolphins saving the kids from almost drowning, mutiny aboard ship, war on a distant island, miraculous healings, protecting a baby penguin from becoming breakfast, and more!

This book captures the reader’s attention right from the beginning and doesn’t let go.

It goes from one adventurer to another without losing your reader’s interest for an instant.

Candy had been a good shopper for years. With 12 children, it didn’t take her long to realize that if she wasn’t a smart shopper, she wouldn’t make it very far! She wanted to continue to be a stay-at-home mother, but she wondered if this was going to be possible. Then, she found out about coupons. Coupons have literally changed her life!
