This Week’s Grocery Shopping Trip to Price Chopper

Price Chopper is having one of their big BOGO (Buy One/Get One Free) sales this week.

The sale is running from Sunday, August 4, 2024, through Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Make sure you get into Price Chopper this week and grab some of their deals.

Here are the deals I grabbed today.

Vlasic Pickles

I love pickles! Are you a pickle lover?

I like to grab some Powerade when it gets marked down. It’s a quick and easy way to get hydrated during the hot summer months and when people just aren’t feeling well.

Luigi’s Italian Ice

My family loves Luigi’s Italian Ice, but I refuse to buy it at its regular price.

Price Chopper has Luigi’s as part of their BOGO sale this week, so I grabbed four boxes.

Tony’s Pizza

Now, that I only have one kid at home, we are able to cook just one pizza for a meal!

That sounds crazy to me after raising 12 kids!

Anyway, Tony’s pizzas are on a BOGO sale at Price Chopper this week, so I picked up four pizzas.

These are delicious and make for a quick and easy meal when I don’t have time to make homemade.

My Total at Price Chopper Today

I walked out of Price Chopper with a pretty full cart of groceries.

I got just over $119.00 worth of groceries and paid just $64.00!!!

Strategic Shopping

I don’t do grocery shopping the way a typical American family does their grocery shopping.

I don’t go to the store every week to buy a week’s worth of groceries.

I shop to fill my pantry and freezer.

I fix my meals out of my stockpile at home and shop to find the deals to keep it stocked.

That is why you might see me buy 12 boxes of the same thing one week and 12 packages of another thing on a different week.

Shopping the sales rather than shopping for what I simply want that week is how I save thousands of dollars on my grocery bill every year.

Yes, this might mean you don’t get to eat things you particularly want for a while, but once you have taken a few weeks to get your pantry and freezer stocked, you can eat what you want while not paying full-price!
