What You Should Consider Buying in April
#1 – Winter clothing
If your store has any kind of winter clothing left, they want it gone!
They will be marking all things winter down to its rock-bottom price in April.
Now is the time to stock up for next winter.
These items make great Christmas gifts too!
#2 – Snow Removal Equipment
Just like the winter clothing, stores want anything to do with snow removal out of the way so they can bring in all of the lovely spring and summertime deals.
Now is the time to buy snow shovels, snow blowers, ice scrapers, and anything else that is related to wintertime.
#3 – Spring Cleaning
Just hearing the word April after a long winter sounds so good to the ears, doesn’t it?
It also sounds like spring cleaning time.
We will be seeing all kinds of spring cleaning deals in April.
Watch for cleaning supplies of all kinds.
Be sure and match up coupons and digital rebates to get the best deals.
If you are in the market for a new vacuum cleaner, this is the month.
Vacuum cleaners will be marked down in April.
#4- Earth Day
April 22nd is Earth Day.
It is not uncommon for places like Stewart’s Shops and other coffee shops to give away a free or extremely low priced cup of coffee in an Earth-friendly cup to celebrate Earth Day.
There will also be a lot of deals on green cleaning supplies this month.
#5 – Easter
Easter is April 4th this year.
We have seen the stores flooded with Easter items for a few months now.
Once April 5th hits, everything to do with Easter will be marked down.
It will eventually hit 90% off, which of course, is one of my favorite prices for holiday items.
#6 – Ham and Eggs
Easter doesn’t just bring deals on candy, baskets, and pretty dresses.
Ham and eggs will be on sale for the holiday.
Also, watch for deals on lamb and all Kosher foods, thanks to Passover.
A few years ago, I got a case of Matzos crackers for free during the Passover sales.
#7 – Mini Baking Supplies Sale
We will also see a mini baking supplies sale around Easter and Passover.
This bake sale won’t be as amazing as the November baking supplies sales, but there will still be some great deals.
Use coupons and digital rebate apps to save even more.
Make sure you stock up!
#8 – April is Car Care Month
Your car has had a rough, long winter too.
It is time to give it a little TLC during Care Care Month.
Watch for sales, coupons, and deals from your local auto parts stores, like Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, etc.
#9 – Home Improvement Supplies
Ready to jump into some home improvement projects this spring?
Home improvement stores, like Lowe’s and Home Depot will be offering some great deals this month.
Look for sales on both indoor and outdoor home and garden supplies.
#10 – National This and That Day
Stores love to run sales alongside of National This and That days.
