Where Do I Find Coupons to Save Money Now?
One of the most popular things people ask me is, Where Do I Find Coupons to Save Money Now?
Here is a list of 12 different places you can find coupons to start saving money now.
#1 – Where Do I Find Coupons to Save Money Now? – Ask for Them!
My number one, and absolute favorite way to find coupons for products that my family actually uses is to simply ask the manufacturers for them.
Yup, it’s that simple.
You can call, email, or write and an old-fashioned through snail mail letter.
I typically go to their website, find the CONTACT US link, and send a message that way.
I usually write something like,
We are a mega family, which includes 12 children and we love your products! Could you send us some coupons? Thank you for your time.
Now, before you panic, you don’t need 12 children for this to work.
My sister only has two children and it works for her.
My 72-year-old father is able to get coupons this way too!
Companies love to hear from their consumers. It doesn’t really matter if you are writing a compliment about their products or if you are complaining.
They will usually send you coupons.
Here are some of the companies that I like to email:
Asking the companies for free manufacturer coupons is the quickest, and easiest way to get coupons for products that your family will actually use.
Keep Trying
Don’t give up if some companies say no. Keep trying. The companies that say yes will make up for all of the no’s you hear.
Always remember coupons equal money. They are money for you, but they are also money for companies.
Since coupons equal money, we need to realize that companies are not going to issue out an unlimited supply of money. They would simply go bankrupt if they did.
Some companies will say yes, and send you coupons right away. Some companies will just simply say no. Other companies will say yes, but we have reached our limit for the month, so please try again at a later date.
I have emailed companies for coupons and been told no, while my sister emailed them a week later and received awesome coupons from them. So, remember that coupons equal money to the companies. Maybe your no was really just a not now. Try again!

#4 -Where Do I Find Coupons to Save Money Now? – Use the Store Coupons
Store coupons are different from manufacturer coupons. Many stores will allow you to use one store coupon, plus one manufacturer coupon on one product, so it is worth checking out what your store has to offer.
This is called stacking.
This is called stacking. Check your store's coupon policy to see if they allow stacking coupons.
Even if your store doesn’t allow stacking, using store coupons is a great way to save money.
Many times these store coupons offer deals at such a deep discount to the store, that they actually lose money when you buy it.
These deals are called loss leaders and are meant to get you into the store.
The store hopes that once you are in the store, you will buy more than just the loss leaders.
As a Strategic Shopper, you are to just go into the store, grab the deals, and get out!

Did you know you can buy Sunday newspaper coupon inserts?
Here are a few coupon clipping services:
Please, be aware that I have never used a coupon clipping service. Do your own research before choosing a specific site.
#7 – Where Do I Find Coupons to Save Money Now? – In-store Kiosk Coupon Machines
Look for Kiosk coupon machines right inside of the stores you shop. Most CVS customers wouldn’t pass by the Kiosk machine without scanning their store card for coupons.
Price Chopper also has a Kiosk coupon machine at the front of the store.
Scan your store card, and coupons will print out immediately.
Look for in-store Kiosk coupon machines.
Some of these coupons are store coupons and some of them are manufacturer coupons.
Some expire within a few days, while others don’t expire for many months, so read each coupon carefully.

Catalina coupons are those coupons that print out of a little machine next to the check-out register.

Digital coupons are the easiest coupons to use. You can prepare them at home, or you can clip them while walking around the store.
Digital Coupons are the easiest coupons to use!
Many people tell me that they just don’t have time to clip, organize, and carry all of those coupons to the stores.
Most stores have caught on to this dilemma and are now offering digital coupons.
Many digital coupons can be uploaded right to your stores’ loyalty cards.
You don’t even have to remember that you uploaded it, but when you buy that item, the coupon discount will come off automatically when your loyalty card is swiped.
The best part is you can load the coupons right in the store while you are shopping.
Stop scrolling through Facebook while shopping, and tell the kids you can’t text them right now because you are going to be using your phone to get the deals.
Pull up your grocery store’s app and search it for digital coupons.
Be aware that digital coupons don’t typically double, so if your store’s policy is to double manufacturer coupons don’t expect them to carry this policy over to their digital Q’s.
#12 – Where Do I Find Coupons to Save Money Now? – Digital Rebate Sites
There are literally too many digital rebate apps to mention. The digital world has made getting rebates extremely easy.
I don’t try to use every single rebate app available. I just choose a few good ones and stick with them. Trying to use them all just becomes too overwhelming.

#13 – Where Do I Find Coupons to Save Money Now? – Right on Products
Whenever I enter a grocery store, I make a beeline straight for the produce section.
I especially like organic produce. Our grocery stores are full of a variety of produce, but not all of it sells as quickly as the store managers hope.
Since they don’t want to throw all of this produce away, they mark it down while it is still good.
I love to take advantage of these awesome deals!
I look for coupons right on the products and normally find some amazing deals.
Many times I will bring home large bags of lettuce and salad mixes for 50 cents a package!
I just bring them home and serve them up for dinner.
Any coupons found on these packages are typically considered store coupons, so if your store stacks coupons, and you have manufacturer coupons, then be sure and use them together for ultimate savings.
You can use every store coupon stuck on the product. If there are three $0.50 coupons, then you will get $1.50 off!
I also watch for fruit and vegetables to be marked down.
Whatever we don’t use, I chop up and throw onto my dehydrator, or freeze them.
Looking for coupons right on the products in the store is one of my best ways to save on groceries.
When I am finished in the produce section, I head straight for the meat department.
I don’t have much of a hunter’s eye, so I walk up and down the meat section quite a few times searching for coupons stuck right on the packages.
The same concept that was used in the produce section applies to the meat department.
They would rather give you a deep discount on the meat while it is still good rather than wait for it to spoil, then have to throw it all away.
This is how I afford to feed my family steak for dinner so often!
It is not unusual for me to find manufacturer coupons to match up with this already discounted meat.
But even without manufacturer coupons, this is a great way to save on meat.
My next stop is the bakery department. I’m sure you have seen cakes, cookies, pies, rolls, and bread marked at rock bottom prices.
Bakery items don’t typically have store coupons stuck on them.
Rather, the stores just slash the prices starting at 50% and up.
The stores need to move all of these perishable items out before they spoil. We get the benefit of it!
Are you beginning to see a pattern here?
You can go into a grocery store without a list and without coupons and still manage to save a lot of money.
You just need a strategy. That strategy is to hit every aisle that carries perishable products.
I almost always find yogurt marked way down. I also watch for coupons on milk, juice, and eggs.
Coupons dot com is always offering some kind of yogurt coupon. You can also get butter coupons, or any other Real California Milk product coupons OVER HERE.
Ask the store department managers which days and times they typically mark their produce, meat, and dairy down.
Sometimes there are manufacturer coupons stuck right on products too. You have probably seen cardboard coupons hanging off soda. Other products may have stickers on them.
After you get home and use the products, look on the front, back, and inside of the packaging for more coupons.
#14 – Blinkies, Coupon Angels, and More
Watch for coupon boxes attached right on the shelves. Take as many as you like.
You don’t have to use them during this trip.
Watch for coupons left by coupon angels.
Some people decide not to use their coupons for one reason or another, so they leave them beside the right products for you. We call them coupon angels.
Where Do I Find Coupons to Save Money Now?
Coupons can be found everywhere. These are just a few ways where you can find coupons to save money now.
Leave a comment and let me know where you find coupons.
Learn Each Stores’ Coupon Policy
Do you know your stores’ money-saving coupon policies?
Many cashiers and even managers don’t understand their stores’ coupon policies, so it is vital that you do.
Click on the store name or icon that you shop and learn their money-saving coupon policies. Print them out, or keep them handy on your Smartphone.
If a question concerning your couponing arises at a store, kindly and politely try to understand why things aren’t working. Don’t be afraid to ask for a manager, but be aware that the manager has the final say no matter what the policy has to say.
Treat these workers well. I find it easier to contact corporate rather than argue with the store workers. I feel that it is a failure on corporations ’ part if their workers are not sure of their policies. As a Strategic Shopper who uses coupons, you are representing all of us.
